Today marks the end of the second week of our Corn Maze/Pumpkin Patch/Fall Festival 2009 being open.  Within those two weeks, we have seen and learned a lot.  You all have come and gone, leaving with words of excitement, disappointment, and everything in between.  The good out-weighs the bad, however, and we have been listening.

The debut of our haunted trail and haunted house was a huge success.  With nearly 2,000 people coming in over last Friday and Saturday, the haunting went off without a hitch.  We've scared the pants off some of the bravest, and "dampened" the not-so-brave.

We are constantly thinking up new ideas to make our hauntings better, and different than before.  Even if you came out last weekend, don't expect the same scare if you come out again.  We've got even MORE haunters, and added new structures.  If you like to get your heart racing, you're not gonna want to miss this!

Don't leave yet, we've got even more exciting news.  If you only have a couple of hours to come out to the festival and don't feel like you're getting your $11 worth, then come out on Sunday, where we have the Sunday-Special of $6 admission!  Kids 4 and under are still free.  Sundays are a great time if you want to come out and have a fun time with the family.

For those that are looking to simply walk through the pumpkin patch and get a pumpkin, and not wanting to pay to get into the festival, we also offer that choice.  While the All Seasons Nursery store is OPEN, you may park up near the store and walk yourself into the pumpkin patch and pay for your pumpkins in the store.

So, to make everything simple and clear, the following is a break-down of what we offer.

Hi--My name is Luke Hallowell and I am writing you from Fields of Grace, a local gleaning organization that harvests produce for local food banks.
While I would imagine that the frost ruined any corn that remains, I was wondering if there would be an opportunity to reward our volunteers and farmers who helped us pick over 100,000 pounds of food for hungry people locally. Would there be an opportunity to provide them with a special discount through your maze? Please let me know-509.339.3332

From someone threw corn at our toddler on Thursday, November 05, 2009 9:48:53 AM
Just a suggestion for the logistical layout of the maze for next year: If the "family" maze entrance could be closer to the main entrance instead of having to walk toddlers past the scary "haunted" maze entrance to get to the regular corn maze, that would be a much better layout for all. This year, my 2toddler girls were chased by chainsaws while we were walking to the regular family corn maze. which of course made them cry- we were there for the non- haunted one, and a night of fun. Thanks so much for your comments! Being as this was our first year we have definately learned what has and has not worked. And I agree with you about the maze entrances! Next year the non-haunted will be first so those wanting to be haunted will have to walk further down the line if not to a completely different area. The way it was set up this year was not originally planned that way when we had cut out the corn. It was only due to a last minute adjustment.
As far as the admission prices-there are so
